I truly believe movement is medicine. I offer 75 minutes to give my client the option to have time for us to do assisted stretches or movements before or after the session without taking away from your time on the table. (this is an option to do on the table, we can also do it before we get you on the table fully clothed)

This is not mandatory but can be a great addition to your massage. The extra 15 minutes on the table can be used for those areas that need the extra attention.

I always want my clients to feel the best WITHIN their bodies. You get one body...so lets work together to take care of it.

Bodywork Sessions: These sessions are tailored to each client's therapeutic goals and needs. Common qualities I go off of are pressure, speed, rhythm. Different techniques will be used to promote relaxation:

  • Effleurage (gliding)
  • Petrissage (kneading)
  • Friction
  • Compression
  • Tapotement (percussion)

I often love to help clients with Joint mobilizations and Stretches, this is a great option for you to add before, during or after your session.

Pregnancy Massage: This is a modification of basic massage techniques and body positions to help meet the needs of women as they undergo changes during pregnancy and postpartum period. Adding bolsters and pillows to support you and your body during the session can be added. Massage during the first trimester: This is the first day to 14wk. A screening is done before for deep vein thrombosis and any pre health concerns. If any contraindications or concerns come up for us during intake a clearance from your doctor is needed.

Hot Stone Therapy:  This is the use of stones before performing massage techniques. Heat can be said to increase blood flow, reduce pain, increase collagen extensibility, increase ROM (range of motion). Heat application is not recommended during acute phases of an injury or inflammation because it may increase redness, edema, and heat.

Cupping Therapy: cupping is a myofascial or soft tissue decompression it helps stretch tissue to create movement. Cupping essentially creates space. Our bodies are meant to move inside and outside, but sometimes things get stuck. If you have an injury the body sends help. Extra lymph, blood to heal the area. Sometimes, it doesn't get drained properly. Tissues can start to stick, adhesions form. Cupping can help remove that extra lymph and cellular debris.

Gua Sha: gua sha will be used with a steel tool to help promote blood flow, release adhesions in the superficial fascia, Supports your lymphatic system.
*there are some concerns and contraindications with cupping* if you have a blood disorder or diabetes. Post treatment related to chemotherapy. If you have any doubt confirm with your doctor before getting this treatment added.*
